Anne Celeste Heche - an American actor who was a part of diverse genres of cinema TV, theatre and stage - was an incredibly well-known American. The actress is the daughter and granddaughter of actor Gene Lockhart. Lockhart began her acting career at a young age. For T is for Tumbleweed, her first movie role was at four years old. This short film about a theme was nominated for an Oscar award. Lockhart would be on the set with her mom, where she would learn about the nuances of business. Lockhart has even appeared on several Lassie episodes. Dora in Jory in 1973 was her first film. She turned 18 years old when she played her character as the daughter of Joan Crawford on The Sixth Sense. Joan Crawford's last role as an actor. There is widespread belief that Anne did not want to play Laurie Strode for John Carpenter's 1978 film, Halloween. Jaime Lee Curtis was chosen to play the role. Carpenter states that the actress declined his invitation to be Laurie Strode. Anne says she does not recall ever being contacted or given the role by John Carpenter. Perhaps her agent rejected the role down without informing Anne. Glen Larson, who had provided her with the first draft script of a part in the television series Battlestar Galactica from 1978, first chose her. She initially rejected the part because she felt the character was weak. Glen invented a new role for her, with Sheba as a more powerful role model. The Living Legend's initial 25-page script had been read by her and she immediately agreed. The program ran for one episode. The show was cancelled after one season. Joyride (1977), a film that she co-starred in and acted in alongside Desi Arnaz Jr. Melanie Griffith, Robert Carradine.
