Aspen Ladd started her combat sports career at the age of fourteen. She began training in kickboxing boxing wrestling, and BJJ. She made her debut as an amateur at the age of 18, at WCFC against Jaimee Nievera. Ladd then went on to win three fights consecutively at Ultimate Reno Combat. All of her opponents were finished within the first minute. Aspen went back to WCFC for the purpose of defeating Leslie Rodriguez through a unanimous ruling. Aspen beat Silvia Babaeghian and Maddy Simmons before fighting Cynthia Calvillo at WCFC 9. Cynthia defeated Aspen and swept her away in unanimity to create an ominous mark on her amateur record. Ladd bounced back from the defeat, and won Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to improve her record up to 8-1. Aspen was a professional when she entered the ranks in the year 2015. Aspen signed with Invicta FC and made her debut. Invicta eleven saw Aspen dominate Ana Carolina Vidal to score TKO victory in the opening round. Invicta Fighting Championships 16: Aspen won the next match against Amanda Cooper through a second-round submission by armbar. Aspen employed her skills in wrestling to knock out McGill with a TKO during the third round (elbows and punches). Aspen then fought Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18 at catchweight(138.1lb) because Ladd missed weight despite this Aspen dominated Hoy and finished her in the second round by KO. Invicta FC, 21 was her last promotion fight. Invicta FC 21, Eubanks prevailed by a majority vote. Aspen Ladd debuted in the UFC in the 118th UFC Fight Night 118, against Lina Langsberg. She outclassed Lina, and ground-and - beat her to an TKO win in the second round. Then, in her third fight she defeated Tonya Evinger even more impressively. Ladd defeated Evinger with a punch during the opening round, she was awarded a performance of the night bonus. Invicta FC fighter Sijara Eugenes was in the UFC's Fight Night dos Anjos-Lee rematch with Sijara's Eubanks, was the first fight she's had in a major capacity. The two fighters put on an exchange of blows that culminated with Ladd triumphing via a unanimous decision and each fighter receiving their Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie finished Ladd in just 16 seconds which ended her streak to win. She came back to finish Yana Kunitskaya after the third round of UFC at ESPN 7. In her recent fight for the UFC she fought Norma Dumont at UFC Fight Night 195 as a replacement fight. She was defeated by a unanimous decision.
